Fitness, Attitude and Nutition Camp

Join the staff of Camp Foster and the Bedell Family YMCA along with professionals from Lakes Regional Hospital as we begin an adventure into a new speciality camp called F.A.N. (Fitness, Attitude, Nutrition) Camp!  This 2-week camp is designed to offer campers ages 9-14 with a educational and fun experience that will promote:

* feeling strong, healthy and confident

* making new friends and strong bonds with others their own age

* spend quality time with superb role models

* learn from hands-on experience about portion size, healthy food choices, fun and calorie burning activities

This 2-week camp, June 20th-July 3rd, is committed to developing a healthy spirit, mind and body by educating both campers and their families on fun activites and lifelong healthy food choices.  We are not a clinic that places emphasis on measurements and evaluations nor on strict exercise regiments.  We offer this program to help parents and children work together on nutritions meal planning, portion sizes, and adopting a healthy active lifestyle.
